Birth Doula and Postpartum Doula services include one free consultation.
This is a time for you and me to connect and for you to be able to ask me questions and provide insight into what you are needing for support.
This can done via phone call or an in-person visit.
- Two prenatal visits -
To assess your needs and desires during labor and birth, define and understand expectations of one another, and provide you and your partner with useful tools
for labor and birth.
- Birth plan assistance -
We will go over your preferences for birth.
I will help explain all the options you have available.
- Access to a lending library -
You will have complete access to borrow books to support your learning.
- Continuous support during labor and birth-
I will provide you with continuous physical, emotional and informational support for you and your partner for the duration of your labor and birth, I will help you hold space and move towards the vision you have created for your baby’s birth.
- Initial breastfeeding support after birth -
I will stay after your baby is born to assist you with initial breastfeeding support
to help baby latch properly and encourage the establishment of breastfeeding.
- One postpartum follow-up visit -
One postpartum follow-up visit to celebrate the birth of your baby,
revisit and evaluate your birth experience, and answer
any questions you have during the early postpartum period.
- Unlimited phone and email support:
I will be available to you and your partner throughout your pregnancy and early labor to answer your questions and offer suggestions and support.
- Parent Support -
Assistance with taking care of your postpartum body.
Support in feeding your baby.
Encouragement of healthy eating.
Allow you to take breaks to rest or shower.
- Family Support-
Help process the birth of your new baby.
Assistance with the transition of having a newborn.
Sibling care and emotional support.
- Infant Care -
Assistance with babywearing basics and safe practices.
Solutions and guidance to breastfeeding challenges.
Pumping information and guidance.
Proper storage of breastmilk and formula.
